RetailCraft - the people behind the performance

A network of leaders in the EU 1000

After a decade of research on the UK 500, the EU 1000 and the Global Elite 1000 it’s clear to us that the main determinant of D2C success is the people who power the performance.

Since 2008 we’ve been providing off the record networking and peer exchange opportunities, including 157 dinners (!), roundtables and think tanks, and the common messages have been:

  • how do I keep learning and developing my skills (leaders are always learning!)
  • how can I make my team and board perform
  • how do I improve my contribution at board level.
To that end we’ve formalised our activities into the RetailCraft Network – a private, confidential peer grouping for commercial leaders in our D2C rankings, case study and podcast guests and
research contributors.

Table of Contents

The ‘get’ – what do member get 🧁

  • Free access to all research apps and data – consumer data, retailer profiles and rankings, sustainability trackers… everything!
  • Invites to 10~12 private dining dinners a year in London, with a further dozen in AMS, BER, CPH, PAR and NYC
  • “Ask us anything” research – we’ll do the lifting on our data
  • A monthly board brief – you pick the subject, we’ll create a board brief
  • ‘Think tank’ discussion formats, online and in major cities
  • A community site with resources, peer discussion areas, with interest groups led by peer members
  • VIP access to all RetailX Events conferences
  • Whatever products we dream up, you get them first and free.
Is there a catch?

The ‘give’… what do I have to do for all of this? ✏️

We ask that RetailCraft members complete the Leadership Barometer Survey… but even then we give back! All members will have access to the survey results and tracker, as well as being able to compare their own responses with the aggregate – by country, by sector and role type.

Practicalities 📋

We’re working through our database inviting people to join. It’s then a yes/no choice. We never share or sell your data. We don’t spam or add you to any mailings. All of our interactions are either confidential or under the Chatham House Rule. Once you’re a member you stay a member, save only if you become a supplier/vendor (in which case your membership is paused until you are in a D2C capacity again). That’s it!

If we’ve not yet reached you or you’re new to us, please introduce yourself via our form, or contact Ian Jindal. Equally if you’d like to nominate a peer, we’d love to follow your recommendation.
